Types of mental illness
Mental illnesses are of different degrees of severity and types.
Some of the major types include:
A mental illness becomes most present when feelings of tension, sadness at times and or anxiety become so disturbing and overwhelming that day to day activities such as maintaining relationships, work and or leisure time becomes too difficult to cope with.
Depressive disorder at it's extreme can prevent people form leaving their beds and or physically care for themselves.
Anxiety disorder at it's extreme can avoid people from leaving their house and or make people have compulsive rituals to help them alleviate their fears.
Mental illnesses that are less common may involve psychosis such as:

Treatment of mental illness
Most mental illnesses can be effectively treated or managed. It is important to recognise early symptoms and signs and accessing effective treatment as early as possible. The sooner the treatment begins, the better the outcome.
